Sometimes, one unexpected moment is enough to change the way we see our own lives.

Welcome to the E viva a experiência blog. Welcome to my personal world (which, I’m sure, resembles yours in some way).

There are days when writing comes naturally.

Words seem to find their own place, thoughts become clearer, and everything flows.

And then there are days like today.

Days when writing isn't inspired by creativity, but by the need to make sense of what we've just experienced.

This is one of those days.

Welcome to Evivaa.

More than a blog, this is a place where I share experiences, reflections, and the lessons life quietly teaches us along the way.

If you're here, I hope that, somehow, part of my journey resonates with yours.

When an Ordinary Day Becomes Extraordinary

Today, on my way to pick up my daughter from school, I witnessed something that deeply shook me.

A motorcyclist had been involved in a fatal accident.

Traffic had come to a complete stop, and every car was forced to pass slowly through the scene. By the time I reached it, the team responsible for removing the body was preparing to leave, while others cleared the motorcycle from the road.

It was impossible not to stop and think.

What made that moment even more significant was what had happened just minutes before.

I had been crying.

Not because of the accident—I hadn't seen it yet—but because of my own personal and financial struggles.

Problems that, at that moment, felt too heavy for me to carry.

A Different Perspective

As I drove past the accident, tears filled my eyes once again.

But this time, for a completely different reason.

A single thought crossed my mind:

"While someone else's life has come to an end today, I'm crying over problems that, as long as I'm alive, can still be solved."

That thought stayed with me.

Would it be selfish to believe my problems were the biggest ones in the world?

Or would it make more sense to be grateful simply for being alive?

Sometimes life doesn't answer our questions with words.

Sometimes it answers them by placing something unexpected in front of us.

A Reminder I Didn't Expect

I wasn't emotionally strong today.

In fact, if I could have chosen, I probably wouldn't have written anything at all.

I wanted silence.

I wanted to be alone.

I wanted the day to end.

But as the evening went on, I realized I needed to write—not because I had found the answers, but because I didn't want to forget what today had taught me.

Writing has always helped me organize my thoughts.

Some days, words come effortlessly.

Other days, they simply become a way of understanding what my heart is trying to say.

Today was one of those days.

I wanted to record this moment so that, one day, when life feels overwhelming again, I can come back and remember what truly matters.

The Weight We Give to Our Problems

The past few months have been some of the most challenging I've ever experienced.

Life has tested my emotional resilience in ways I never imagined.

It has forced me to face uncertainty, disappointment, fear, and questions I didn't know how to answer.

More than once, I felt as though I had reached my limit.

And perhaps that's exactly why today's experience affected me so deeply.

It reminded me that pain cannot be measured.

What feels overwhelming to me is still real.

What someone else is going through is also real.

One person's suffering doesn't erase another's.

But sometimes, life gently adjusts our perspective.

It reminds us that, as long as we are alive, there is still room for hope.

There is still time to rebuild.

Still time to forgive.

Still time to begin again.

A New Day Always Begins

As I write these words, it's already late.

The day is coming to an end, and although sadness still lingers, I know it won't stay forever.

One of the things I love most about life is that every morning gives us another chance.

Another opportunity to think differently.

To choose differently.

To begin again.

At the time this happened, I remember wishing that year would end as quickly as possible.

Life had shaken me awake in ways I wasn't prepared for.

Looking back now, I realize that some of our hardest years also become our greatest teachers.

Not because they are easy.

But because they change us.

Looking Back with Gratitude

Today, when I remember that afternoon, I don't think first about the traffic.

Or the accident.

Or even the tears.

I think about perspective.

About how quickly life can remind us of what really matters.

Sometimes we spend so much energy worrying about problems that, painful as they are, can still be solved.

Then life quietly reminds us that the greatest gift we have is something we often forget to appreciate:

The chance to wake up tomorrow.

Perhaps that's why I felt the need to write this.

Not because I had all the answers.

But because I didn't want to lose the lesson.

Life doesn't always change through extraordinary events.

Sometimes, it changes through a single moment that quietly shifts the way we see everything else.

And for that lesson, difficult as it was, I choose to be grateful.
