Ever since I can remember, I’ve seen women taking on a thousand and one tasks throughout the day. They have this unique gift of mentally organizing their routines, accomplishing their duties, and taking care of everything the family needs — most of the time, without going completely insane in the short term.

I witnessed the “homemaker” generation and gradually saw the rise of a new generation: the “independent woman” — women who work both inside and outside the home, often becoming the main providers.

In both scenarios, these women performed their roles with grace and strength. But one thing I’ve always noticed is that, regardless of the situation, women have had to learn specific strategies to thrive wherever they are. We know our potential and how far we can go. But often, we trap ourselves — in limiting beliefs, self-doubt, toxic relationships (romantic or professional) — and perhaps that’s the greatest vulnerability of the so-called "weaker sex."

I used to watch incredible women go through all these transformations while still trying not to "overshadow" the men around them by appearing more evolved. It sounds crazy, right? But it happens — it still happens — that some men feel uncomfortable when their wives, girlfriends, or even sisters are more successful or earn more than they do.

Let me pause for a second here because I mention emotional intelligence a lot in other posts — and I’ll always bring it up — because learning to use it is a LIFE STRATEGY.

Through it, everything begins to align, revealing answers and direction. In situations like this, strategy is everything. Understanding our emotions and learning how to deal with them is one of life’s most difficult tasks — and sadly, it’s not something we’re taught in school.

Now, back to the main topic: if you, like me, have ever felt like a fish out of water in a group of friends… if you feel the need to understand the "whys" behind things, or if you’re on a journey toward self-discovery and better performance — both personally and professionally — let me tell you: you’re an incredible person who’s evolving. You may be going through a brief period of confusion or doubt, but soon you’ll reach your most glorious victories. Get ready!

All you need to do is use your intuition, wit, and inner wisdom to masterfully achieve your goals.

I’ve always read a lot, especially about human behavior, because it’s through this lens — and through psychology — that I better understand myself, my actions, and where I need to grow. I usually finish one book before starting another, but something unusual happened to me recently…

At the salon where I work, we have a little book nook for reading and exchanging. The rule is simple: take one, leave one. 😊

There was one book, in particular, that I had no idea who left there, but it kept calling out to me. Something about it caught my attention. But every time I got excited to take it, the title made me hesitate.

I had no idea what it was about. Until one day, I finally picked it up and started reading. I was hooked. The first thing I thought was, “Why didn’t I read this sooner?!”

The book is called The Art of War for Women. The title intrigued me, but also made me think: “Is this just about war? I don’t really like that… or is it some empowerment-only thing?

And maybe I’m not even in that kind of headspace…” But once I began reading, I found a guide full of wisdom for a journey of self-knowledge and success — through captivating pages and the life teachings of Sun Tzu.

Does it talk about empowerment? Yes — but that’s not the main focus. What truly matters is the value we give ourselves — first as people, then as women. I recommend the book to women and men because it’s not anti-men — quite the opposite. It helps them understand the female universe and the unique challenges we face.

The most amazing thing was realizing how ancient strategies brought me modern insights. Without even trying, I found a book that helped me grow in one of the areas I love most: recognizing my strengths and weaknesses. It taught me how to channel energy effectively and how to turn every challenge into an opportunity for growth and transformation.

In short, I loved this book and highly recommend it!If, like me, you’re always seeking answers and personal growth, I suggest this mental toolkit that will transform the way you think and act — empowering you to face any adversity with clarity and confidence.
